Is DOKKA looking to replace or augment ERP systems?
Will DOKKA replace your ERP, or integrate with it? In this Q&A, the team explains why ERPs remain essential and how DOKKA connects through API integrations with platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, and SAP. The goal isn’t replacement, it’s seamless integration to streamline your close.

Mehdi: Hello everyone, this is Mehdi. I sent in a couple of questions, and one of them was about integration and the replacement of legacy systems. Many SMBs and enterprises still rely on legacy accounting software.
My question is: does DOKKA prioritize seamless integration with tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, or is the long-term goal to replace these systems entirely?
Omar: From our perspective, especially when it comes to the financial close, we still need to connect to ERP systems because they handle far more than just financial transactions. Most systems today already support API connectivity, and we’ve built an integration layer that connects DOKKA with different ERPs. So rather than replacing them, our approach is to integrate and work alongside them.
