Accounting Software Focus for this podcast:

The podcasts themselves don’t give any hints or clues as to which accounting software this podcast is focussing on. As it’s aimed at growing accounting and bookkeeping companies, our guess is that the focus is more on the business and less on the accounting software used. Having said that, as it’s an American podcast, it’s most likely that the content will include discussions around Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop as Intuit is the accounting software market leader in the United States.

What do we like about this podcast?

Building any business is hard. As we know a very small percentage of businesses survive after 1 year, and almost none after 5 years. So any advice for business owners is always welcome. But this podcast goes far further than that as they focus on a niche – accounting and bookkeeping company owners – so all the content is tailored for this particular segment, and is all about very specific information on how to grow an accounting and bookkeeping company. We believe that this is invaluable not only for new bookkeeping and accounting company owners, but also for established companies, as scaling a business is also incredibly difficult, and getting feedback from people that have already been in your shoes is invaluable.
